iPhoneclub.nl is by far the largest and best-known website about the Apple iPhone in The Netherlands and Belgium, a market with over 23,5 million inhabitants. We cover news, tips, rumors, reviews and other relevant information about the Apple iPhone. Since its inception in December 2006, iPhoneclub has shown a constant and healthy growth to the current number of 58.000 active forum members, 84.000 daily visitors at our news website (30.000 uniques) and 26.500 daily visitors in our forums (17.500 uniques) and over 250,000 combined daily page views (August 2011). iPhoneclub.nl is an independent website, weblog and forum. We are in no way sponsored by Apple, Microsoft, T-Mobile or any other corporation. iPhoneclub.nl is managed by Jean-Paul Horn and Gonny van der Zwaag, two seasoned IT journalists who enjoy playing with phones, gadgets, media players and other consumer electronics.

iPhoneclub: the people

Jean-Paul HornJean-Paul Horn (1971) studied Journalism and Communication Sciences, and subsequently worked a couple of years as a webdeveloper and consultant. After this detour he picked up his old love journalism again. He writes for several consumer and trade magazines and is also a succesful book author with titles on Windows Media Center, open source software and PDA’s and smartphones.

Gonny van der ZwaagGonny van der Zwaag (1971) studied Business Engineering & Technology Management, and worked eight years as a Business and ICT Consultant for CMG/Logica and ING. After several freelance jobs for magazines like Wireless Computing and Winmag, she decided to fully dedicate her time to writing. She worked as an editor for Personal Computer Magazine (PCM) and as a freelance author for several websites and consumer magazines. She also wrote books about Google, Vista, iPod and iTunes, GPS navigation, and smartphones. She co-hosts a weekly podcast with Brenno de Winter called ICT Roddels.
